Lancashire-based AM Services Group has announced the creation of a waste and washroom management division.

The new division is headed up by Nikki Phillips, who has been promoted to the role of divisional manager from within the business.

The division will support new and existing customers to handle their waste responsibly through the onsite handling and transfer of waste.

AM Services Group has a large number of Tier One Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) sites in its business portfolio. The company can now assist these clients to meet their duty of care and support sustainable waste disposal requirements by providing specialist waste management services.

Phillips previously worked as business development manager with AM Services Group and, under her, the washroom services division turnover and profits have increased, some significant contracts have been won, and a range of innovative products have been introduced.

Adrian Cresswell, group managing director, said: “As our service lines expand, our expertise and experience grow, and we develop our niche markets, this feels like the next natural step for AM Services Group.”
