ARCUS EXTENDS ITS BESPOKE SUPPORT FOR SAINSBURY’S

Facilities management company Arcus has extended its service provision to supermarket chain Sainsbury’s.

 

Arcus already supplies bespoke FM services to the retailer’s supermarket and convenience stores, but now it has been awarded contracts to provide building management, lighting and drainage FM services across Sainsbury’s nationwide store portfolio. 

 

Arcus’s existing FM contract with Sainsbury’s has been in place since 2009, and runs until 2026.

 

The new contracts follow the appointment of Arcus to provide FM services to Home Retail Group’s Argos and Habitat store network, which Sainsbury’s bought in early 2017. The contract is worth £3 million a year to Arcus.

 

Sainsbury’s has a long-standing relationship with Arcus, cemented last year with the confirmation of 10-year partnership.

  

Danny Malyon, head of FM at Sainsbury’s, said: “FM is essential to ensuring we deliver the service our customers expect across our store network.  So, that’s why it’s important we use an FM partner we can trust, and why we have extended Arcus’s service provision remit further.”
