Bouygues Energies & Services has been awarded an extension to its facilities management contract at the University of the Arts London (UAL).
Under terms of the three-year deal, which is the first time that the contract has been given to an incumbent service provider, Bouygues will continue its provision of electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance, cleaning and security.
Bouygues has been responsible for FM services at the university’s sites across the capital for the past four years.
The service provider will also help UAL deliver a refurbishment of its Camberwell College of Arts campus, as well as two relocation projects at London College of Communication in Elephant & Castle, and the transfer of London College of Fashion to the Olympic Park.
Mark Briggs, head of facilities management at UAL, said: “The strategic development of this TFM contract for UAL will provide the high-quality services that our students expect, with a close partnership that can assist the challenges of the UAL estate plan.”
Bouygues also provides FM services at the University of London as part of a five-year deal awarded in July 2016.
