IKEA UK & Ireland has awarded a multi-million pound contract extension to Europa for heating, ventilation and air conditioning maintenance.
The one-year extension, which started this month, is a continuation of a three-year deal covering 18 IKEA stores throughout the UK and one in Dublin.
Europa also won a framework agreement with IKEA to supply all air filtration filters across the home furnishing business’s entire UK and Ireland portfolio.
The Ikea extension comes after Europa’s announcement in December that it had won a multi-million pound, five-year extension with international oil and gas logistics organisation Asco.
That contract covers planned mechanical and electrical and building fabric maintenance, grounds maintenance, security, cleaning, helpdesk, relocation services and space planning, energy monitoring and project services.
Europa, which won the original contract in 2008, said the deal covers 26 Asco sites throughout the UK, including the company’s global headquarters in Aberdeen.
