Mitie has won a three-year contract with global payment processing company WorldPay, worth £2 million annually.
The integrated FM contract will run across WorldPay’s four UK sites, including its London headquarters.
Mitie services will include maintenance and engineering, fabric maintenance, security, helpdesk, catering, cleaning, pest control, waste management, reception and post-room.
WorldPay, which has around 2,000 staff in the UK, operates in over 40 countries and focuses on payment processing for businesses and individuals.
“WorldPay chose Mitie because it can self-deliver 95 per cent of services without relying on subcontractor,” said a Mitie statement.
Mitie also announced this week that its built environment business had won a refurbishment project worth £10.5 million for Derwent London, a property investment and development business.
The category A, 7,500 square metre (80,730 square foot) fit-out at the offices in Clerkenwell started last month.
The works include structural alterations to create a new entrance, as well as an atrium infill and office extension. The façade will have new glazing at ground floor level, new cladding to level 4 and sloping glazing to the rear elevation.
