The Royal College of Art has appointed Churchill as its cleaning partner after a competitive tender process through the London Universities Purchasing Consortium.

As part of the three-year contract, Churchill will provide cleaning services across the RCA’s three London campuses in Kensington, White City, and Battersea.

The university has more than 2,200 master’s and doctoral students, and employs 1,000 professionals including scholars, art and design practitioners, along with specialists, advisers and distinguished visitors.

The RCA is the world’s leading arts university, placed at number one in the QS World Universities rankings for art and design in 2015, 2016 and 2017. It is also recognised as being the UK’s most research-intensive specialist art and design institution.

Churchill stood out as the preferred candidate, having demonstrated a keen awareness and understanding of the RCA’s illustrious status, and an ability to deliver high standards in keeping with the institution’s world-class reputation.

The company will deliver general cleaning, washroom services, and periodic cleaning for all 12 buildings on the three London campuses.
