City FM's Campbell Murdoch
City FM's Campbell Murdoch

11 August 2017 | Martin Read

City FM, a privately owned FM service provider, has appointed Campbell Murdoch as its chief operating officer

Since joining the business in 2016, Murdoch has played “an instrumental role in developing a pipeline and growth strategy over the last 18 months as managing director of City FM”, a statement from the company said. Murdoch is set to lead employees in the company’s operations, business development and central support departments.

Further to the recent acquisition of Lesprit Ltd in April 2017, which currently trades as Maintenance Management Ltd (based in Milton Keynes) and Atrium Maintenance France (in Lille, France), City has plans to expand its operations across Europe.

To meet these growth aspirations, a new structure has now been rolled out across the three businesses.

Murdoch has more than 25 years’ experience and a background in new business development and marketing and has played “a pivotal role in securing and renewing a number of contracts for the business”.

Murdoch said he would “bring a strong focus on developing City FM’s service offering to ensure we provide the best possible, energy-led facilities management services for new and existing customers”.
