The deal has already delivered £2m in savings

Services covered by Engie’s long-standing FM contract with accountancy consultants Grant Thornton have been extended to include energy, through guaranteeing a minimum 5 per cent reduction in costs in this area each year.

This will be done through Engie Assure and achieved through “a comprehensive range of innovative energy efficiency and optimisation measures”.

Engie has also been awarded the electricity supply contract for Grant Thornton sites from October 2018.

The contract has a 24-month contractual consumption of 10GWh, which will be generated by renewable energy sources, as certified through the Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGO) scheme and/or the Guarantee of Origin (GOO) scheme.

Engie won the initial contract in 2009, and since then the contract has delivered over £2 million worth of aggregated savings.
