BIFM Awards 2017 – Newcomer of the Year
Conrad Dinsmore, global programme delivery analyst at ISS Facility Services has won the Newcomer of the Year award at this year’s BIFM Awards.
Having completed his dissertation on the effects that Building Information Modelling (BIM) will have on facilities management, Dinsmore joined ISS in September 2015 as a graduate trainee before moving into the companies Global Knowledge Centre, where he focuses on the banking sector.
Supporting the implementation and management of the Integration@ISS platform across all relevant sites across the sector, he holds a range of responsibilities including the delivery of mobilisation workshops and assisting operations through transition periods.
“Once on board, Conrad quickly started to demonstrate promise in the work that he was producing and was up to speed much quicker than I had anticipated,” said Danny O’Keefe, head of global programme deliver, global operations at ISS.
“I became increasingly impressed with his ability to forge strong working relationships with our clients, senior managers and frontline teams alike.”
Having developed an interest in the built environment from a young age, Dinsmore pursued it by undertaking a BSc with honours in Construction, Engineering & Management at Ulster University and soon set his sights on a career within Facilities Management, which led him to make BIM the focus of his final year dissertation.
Alongside his continued progression at ISS, Dinsmore has engaged with the BIFM to expand his learning and skillset, frequently attending special interest group sessions and networking with other members of the institute. He is keen to pursue MBIFM accreditation in order to further advance within the profession.
