The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers will launch a new official Journal from February.
Stephen Matthews, chief executive of Cibse, said the move is a positive progression for the Institution and allows Cibse to ensure the publication, which is received free by all members, delivers the information its readers need to stay ahead in the building services industry.
The first issue of the ‘Cibse Journal’ will coincide with Cibse's Low Carbon Performance Awards, celebrating a year of the Cibse Low Carbon Energy Assessors.
Cibse received it royal charter in 1976 and formed an FM special interest group in 1996.
The institution has around 18,500 members.
