Outsourcing provider for services in document management Swiss Post Solutions (SPS) UK has been awarded an additional contract with telecoms and media company TalkTalk.

It will provide mail management, outbound communications and courier management services at TalkTalk’s new office in Salford, Manchester, and three regional offices.

The contract is in partnership with AI software company Celaton.

Incoming mail will be scanned at SPS’s document processing centre into one of Celaton’s systems called Instream, which will enable streamlined processing and delivery into the business.

SPS will also manage the on-site mailroom and provide hybrid mail, which routes communications created at the desktop to SPS’s production centre for printing and mailing.

In addition to Celaton's machine learning technology, the service includes a web-based tracking solution for incoming parcels and a web-based courier management system that provides control and visibility of costs and a pre-approved range of services and suppliers.

Jill Tucker of TalkTalk’s property and facilities team said: “In what was a period of major change for TalkTalk, we brought 1,500 colleagues based over two sites in the North West together in our new site in Manchester.  We took the opportunity to review and simplify our postal, scanning, courier and tracking services and Celaton suggested their partner SPS based on their professionalism and ability to tailor an innovative, streamlined service for TalkTalk. This partnership has not only given us cost savings but has delivered a product fit for our future requirements.”
