Norse Commercial Services has appointed Daniel Vanstone to the newly created position of operations director for the company’s facilities management services.

Vanstone’s role will encompass Norse’s FM operations, together with the company’s specialist divisions – print supplier Interprint, Norse Security, and independent living products provider n-able – a portfolio with an annual turnover of around £10 million.

These arms employ about 300 staff and eight senior managers will report directly to Vanstone.

He has been managing the FM division within Norse as head of service for the past three years, will be responsible to Norse’s group director of FM and buildings, Nick Maddox.

Maddox said Vanstone has been “successfully overseeing strong growth and development within existing contracts, and the development of Norse’s service engineers division for some time”.

He added: “As part of the total facilities management offer we provide, we see many for the services that Norse Security, Interprint and n-able offer as natural fits under the wider FM banner.”

Norse recently announced “record profits, and significant growth in the first quarter of the current year, leading to a number of new appointments and the creation of high-quality jobs in Norfolk”.
